Privacy Policy

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the terms “EDSS,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Eat Donuts Stock Schools, a Florida nonprofit corporation recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization. Terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed to them under generally accepted legal usage.

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, storage, processing, and disclosure of information obtained through EDSS websites, programs, events, scholarship applications, fundraising activities, affiliations, sponsorships, and related services.

EDSS may collect personal and institutional information including, without limitation: - Names, mailing addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers - Student birthdates and parent or guardian names - School, faculty, sponsor, and business affiliation details - Application materials, essays, recommendations, and program participation data

Information collection is limited in scope and frequently facilitated through third-party platforms.

4. Use of Information

Collected information may be used for lawful purposes including: - Administering scholarships, fundraising programs, and events - Verifying eligibility and participation - Communicating with donors, schools, sponsors, and participants - Legal compliance, reporting, and record retention - Program evaluation and improvement

Submission of information does not create an entitlement to services, scholarships, or funding.

5. Third-Party Services

EDSS utilizes third-party service providers, including but not limited to donation platforms such as Givelify. EDSS does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices, data handling, or security measures of third parties.

6. Disclosure of Information

EDSS may disclose information: - To schools, sponsors, or partners solely for program facilitation - As required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order - To protect the rights, property, or safety of EDSS or others

7. Data Retention

Information may be retained regardless of whether a scholarship is awarded or a fundraising goal is achieved, consistent with operational, legal, and compliance requirements.

8. Data Security

EDSS implements reasonable administrative and technical safeguards but makes no guarantee of absolute security. Use of EDSS services is at the user’s own risk.

9. Minors

Information regarding minors is collected solely for legitimate educational and programmatic purposes. Parents or guardians consent to such collection upon submission.

10. Policy Modifications

EDSS reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
