The Glaze the Way Scholarship Program was created by Eat Donuts Stock Schools (EDSS) to recognize graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to their future, and alignment with career pathways that strengthen our local workforce.

This community-sponsored scholarship reflects EDSS’s mission to empower students through real-world opportunity while bringing together schools, educators, and local businesses in meaningful, measurable impact.

Each year, EDSS awards two scholarships—one focused on Information Technology and one on Culinary Arts—supporting students as they transition from high school into higher education and career-focused training.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Glaze the Way Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a graduating high school senior
Be accepted to and registered for an accredited college, university, or technical program
Be enrolled in (or intend to pursue) a major or minor aligned with the scholarship category
Demonstrate strong academic performance
Obtain faculty sponsorship from a teacher, counselor, or school administrator

Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection.

Eligibility Requirements

All eligible applicants must submit the following by the published deadline:

Completed scholarship application form
Faculty Sponsorship Letter (Letter of Recommendation)
Personal Essay (500–750 words)
Proof of college enrollment or acceptance

Optional supporting materials may include a resume, academic honors, or community involvement documentation.

Selection Process & Transparency

All completed and eligible applications are pooled together and reviewed through a transparent, collaborative process.

Scholarship recipients are selected by:

Members of the Eat Donuts Stock Schools Board
Volunteer faculty reviewers representing partner schools

Selections are based on academic achievement, essay quality, faculty recommendation, and alignment with the mission of the Glaze the Way Scholarship Program.

Recognition & Community Visibility

Scholarship recipients are recognized during the final week of the school year, often in coordination with graduation ceremonies.

Distribution through partner school networks
